Aztec’s salsa by Ol’ Gringo Chile Company is a trailblazer product line whose recipes are steeped in Mexican tradition. Aztec’s salsas are for curious consumers with sophisticated palates. The recipes were developed by a native Mexican who wanted to bring flavors and recipes common to her upbringing. Aztec’s Sotelo salsa uses Mexico's favorite pepper -- chile de Arbol -- to anchor a flavor profile similar to what one may find in Mexico. Like Meoqui, Sotelo is for curious palates. While the heat level listed on the jar is medium -hot, it leans well into the “hot” category especially for those who aren’t used to eating chile de Arbol. Ingredients: Tomato sauce (tomatoes, sea salt, onion powder, garlic powder, natural flavors spices, and citric acid), chile de Arbol, water, lemon juice, salt, garlic, spices. Shelf life: 24 months from born-on date. Unit of measure: 16 ounces. Jar size: 5.5 in tall x 3 in wide.
